About Department
The Department of Education of Lala Rural College started its
journey in the year 2015. Miss Safika Choudhury joined the
department in the year 2015 as the lone teacher of the
department.
The department offers the DSM course for the FYUG Programme under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Through its academic programmes, the department aims to provide students with a strong foundation in education and encourage their intellectual and professional development.
Many students passing out from Lala Rural College with Education as a pass subject have continued their higher studies by pursuing Master's programmes, including M.A. in Education, as well as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programmes.
The department continues to promote learning, critical thinking and educational awareness while preparing students for higher studies and opportunities in the field of education.
